  • Choose from our hourly rides (2-5 hours) or our full day ride (~7 hours, lunch included)

Fit your saddle, learn how to saddle a horse in the Western riding style. Then ride in the gymkhana, weaving around barrels and stepping over logs to get to know your horse and how to ride on the trail. A wilderness and riding safety orientation helps you stay safe on the trail.

Then ride to a lookout, up to the alpine or beside a rushing river, depending on the length of your ride. Look for wildlife and learn about different types of edible plants. On our full day ride, stop for lunch in the alpine meadows.

Back at the ranch, unsaddle your horse and reward them with a bowl of oats while reflecting on the riding and wilderness experience.
