Leckie Creek Cabin

Description

Are you looking to disconnect from the city and reconnect to nature and yourself?

Are you tired of the pandemic restrictions and ready to feel renewed in a mountain cabin?

Experience level: Beginner

Flora, fauna and landscape: Watch for mountain goats on the rock faces surrounding camp and mule deer in the nearby meadows. Explore the sub-alpine meadows to the north of Leckie Camp. Witness the spring migration of mountain goats, grizzly bears, mule deer, black bears and wolves. Visit the nearby Leckie Falls, journey to the alpine meadows around Spruce Lake or hike beside Slim, Leckie or Gun Creeks.

Camp: Choose whether you sleep in one of our prospector tents or in our secure cabin. Water is accessible from the nearby Slim Creek. A fire pit and outhouse are provided. A corral ensures your horses have a secure place to overnight. A barn with loft provides storage for your riding gear, sheltered from rain and wind.

Unique features: This low elevation camp is accessible for much of the year. Why not have a winter wilderness experience? Back-country skiing is available here and the camp is an ideal base to access the Slim Creek snowmobile area.

This is a house keeping cabin – each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabin when they leave as these are remote cabins.

Leckie Camp is pet-friendly – please let us know on booking.
