1 WEEK HORSE LOGGING
This comprehensive course is intended to provide the skills and knowledge required for those interested in logging and managing their own woodlots and private land, or in purchasing horses to log on a contract basis. The course covers employment in the industry, shoeing, harnesses and equipment, matching a team of horses, driving and commands for single horse and team, training horses in harness, regulations, logging requirements, woodlot management and industry structure.
