1 OR 2 WEEK WILDERNESS GUIDE TRAINING (Horse Based) - Levels D & C Guide
The overall objective of these training programs is to provide the
basic working knowledge and practical skills required by a
professional guide.
It includes many aspects of guide outfitting and adventure tourism
such as horse handling, shoeing, packing, horse care,
camp preparation, wilderness skills and operational procedures.
The programs prepare participants for entry level positions within
the guide outfitting industry, adventure tourism, guest ranches,
fishing lodges and riding stables.
They are also designed for individuals intent on starting their own
adventure tourism or guide outfitting business.
