RANCH TRANSPORT
A Chilcotin Holidays Program
Ranch Transport:
Leave the driving to our Chilcotin Express. Enjoy the scenery and don't worry about directions.
We transport clients between Vancouver and our Ranch via the scenic Sea-To-Sky Highway or the Fraser Canyon.
It is a scheduled service passenger van, and is available Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
The 7:00 am departure from a designated hotel arrives at our Ranch around noon. The 1:00 pm departure
from our Ranch arrives back at the hotel around 6:00 pm. For those using Vancouver International Airport,
![]() I also want to say how wonderful an ambassador your Chilcotin Express driver is. I realized on the drive back that he is the most helpful and courteous man who really gives a great impression of the whole area to a new arrival. Jane Turnbull, |

From mid May through October, we recommend the Hurley Pass. It is spectacular, but should be done in the
daylight. From Vancouver, take Highway #99 north to Whistler and then Pemberton. Drive through Pemberton to
the Hurley Pass Forestry Road, where you turn right. The Hurley is about an hour and a half of good gravel road.
When you reach the "T" pavement intersection at the end of the Hurley, turn right. Follow Carpenter Lake
for 15 minutes until you see a Chilcotin Holidays sign. Turn left up the hill and continue for 4 km until you see
another sign. Take the left fork onto Gun Creek Road, then continue for another 4 km. Use caution on blind curves,
reduce speed, and watch for wildlife.
The Hurley Road is usually closed during the winter season. From Vancouver, take the Fraser Canyon (Highway #1) through Hope, Lytton then to Lillooet (alternatively, Highway #99 via Whistler and Pemberton, continuing on the Duffey Lake Road to Lillooet). From Lillooet, go west towards Gold Bridge for approximately 1 3/4 hours until you see a sign for Chilcotin Holidays (if you get to Gold Bridge you have gone too far). Turn right up the hill and continue for 4 km until you see another sign for Chilcotin Holidays. Take the left fork onto Gun Creek Road and continue for 4 km. Use caution on blind curves, reduce speed, and watch for wildlife. Allow yourself 6 hours in the Winter.
