Seasonal Packages

In addition to our wide variety of trip types offered regularly throughout the year, have a look at our special seasonal events taking place at the ranch. We have something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a family friendly package to an adults only getaway. Included in every package is accommodation in our cosy ranch house (unless stated otherwise) and three family-style, hearty, and healthy home-cooked meals a day. If you’ve got a group, you can take advantage of renting one of our chalets, instead of staying in the ranch house.

New Year Winter Predator and Eagle Viewing

For those adventurous spirits looking for something a little more unique than the average winter holiday: searching for and viewing some of the most common predators found in the area (mountain lion, bobcat, lynx, wolf and eagle).

Valentine’s Chalet Getaway for Two

Our rustic, log cabin offers the perfect setting for your next romantic getaway. Everything you need is at your fingertips — secluded setting, beautiful mountain location, cosy log cabin fully equipped with terrace, living room, kitchen, and three-piece bath.

What’s Included:

Dates Available: February 12–14; February 19–21.

Spring Break Family Package

Celebrate the beginning of spring with us here at the ranch. This offers the perfect setting to spend some quality time with the kids during their spring break. Our family-friendly atmosphere and western charm will ensure that there’s something for everyone. Kids 8 and under stay for free in parents’ room (minimum 6 night stay).

Dates Available: March 8–14; March 15–21.

Easter Special Package

Have an exciting weekend for the whole family or make it a relaxing getaway for two. Leave the stress and hassle of preparing an elaborate Easter dinner at home and let us spoil you with traditional Easter festivities here at the ranch. Kids 8 and under stay for free in parents’ room.

Mother’s Day Cowgirl Weekend Getaway — No High Heels Allowed!

Throw on your jeans, cowboy boots, and let your hair down! This weekend will bring out the hidden cowgirl in each of you! Enjoy a variety of western games and activities including bucking barrels and learning to lasso like a cowboy.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” — Summer Solstice Special

For centuries people around the globe have rejoiced in the summer solstice with a wide range of festivities. Here at the ranch you can celebrate the beginning of summer surrounded by pristine nature and wildlife.

Father’s Day Backcountry Experience for the Boys

It’s time to get away from the city with the boys and get back to basics. No traffic jams, no cell phones, no suit and tie, and no stress. Spend a few days with the guys doing what guys like to do most — being outdoors.

Canada Day Wildflower Special

If there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s the spectacular beauty of the South Chilcotin Mountains when the alpine meadows are in full bloom. A truly one-of-a-kind experience! Celebrate the beauty of our homeland this Canada Day on an all-inclusive wildflower getaway. And don’t forget to bring your camera! It’s a photography enthusiast’s dream come true. Rather paint it than take pictures? No problem. Bring your equipment and we’ll make sure we get it safely up the mountain for you.

School’s Out — A Week of Kids Adventures

Kick-off the summer holidays and head up to the ranch with the whole family. We’ve got adventures and activities suited for everyone. Would the parents like an afternoon of riding? Our ranch offers a variety of options to keep the kids busy for a couple of hours while mom and dad ride the trails. Kids 8 and under stay for free in parents’ room.

Ranch Boot Camp Week — Learn the ropes of being a Cowboy this Civic Holiday

Looking for a bit of fun and something out of the ordinary? Tired of the standard vacation options? Chilcotin Holidays has nearly two decades of experience training individuals on how to become a wilderness guide. If you want to get a taste of what it’s like to be an authentic western cowboy (or girl), this is perfect for you!

Labour Day Weekend Special — Adults Only

Wrap-up the holidays with one last summer getaway. This Labour Day Special will make the most of your last few “days of summer”. Get a few of your pals together and head up to the ranch for a few action packed days of adventure.

Fall Colours Romantic Getaway

September is a truly beautiful time at the ranch. It’s peaceful and quiet after a long, busy summer. The days become shorter, the air a little crisper and the trees a shimmery hue of soft golden yellow. Take this opportunity to get away with the one you love for a few hassle-free days in the South Chilcotin Mountains.

Autumn Cowgirls Getaway

This package is designed for all you gals looking to leave the daily grind behind for a few days of well deserved, cowgirl fun. Leave the kids with the babysitter and forget about the housework — it’s time to give yourself a break! We offer the perfect reunion destination for you and your high school girlfriends. Let us spoil you and the gals with our selection of ladies-only events.

Thanksgiving Harvest Holiday

This time of year is a perfect reminder about all the things we have to be thankful for. Celebrate together with a few days of horseback riding surrounded by fall’s colours, fresh mountain air and great sunny afternoons. The scenery is breathtaking and after a few days you’ll go home completely refreshed and relaxed.

American Thanksgiving Package

As winter slowly closes in up here in Canada our neighbours to the south are in the midst of celebrating their successful harvest season. We’d like to take this opportunity to invite our southern neighbours or anyone else who would like to celebrate with us. Expect all the traditional festivities.

Dates Available: November 21–28.

Winter Wonderland Christmas Getaway

Imagine spending this holiday season with your family, tucked away in a rustic wilderness chalet (or room in the ranch house). Surround yourself with some of the best winter scenery imaginable, powder snow and crisp air. Crackling fireplace and Christmas cookies being made in our ranch kitchen — it can’t get much cosier than this! Enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner and see who can make the best gingerbread house.

Professional Development Day Long Weekends (Pro-D-Days)

This is a great opportunity to take your kids out for a long weekend guest ranch adventure. There are up to 10 Pro-D Days in the school year, also referred to as bonding days for kids and parents. From Vancouver you can get to our Ranch by noon Friday, then it’s action packed wilderness activities until Sunday soon after lunch. Then you head back to the city. Kids 8 and under stay for free in parents’ room.
