Summer Access
From mid May through October, we recommend the Hurley Pass.
This gravel Forest Service road is a one and a half hour drive from Pemberton to the ranch and should be driven in daylight.
Use caution on blind curves, reduce speed, and watch for wildlife.
Driving directions from Vancouver:
- Take Hwy #99 North (Sea-to-Sky Hwy) to Pemberton.
- In Pemberton, take the Hurley Pass Forestry Rd.

At the “T” pavement intersection, at the end of the Hurley, turn right.
- Follow Carpenter Lake Road for approximately 15 minutes.
- Look for the Chilcotin Holidays sign. Turn left up the hill.
- Continue driving for 4km.
- Turn left at the fork onto Gun Creek Road.
- Continue driving for approximately 4km.
The ranch is situated on the right hand side.
Winter Access
The Hurley Road is closed during the winter season. Travel either:
— Hwy #1 via Hope to Hwy 12 from Lytton to Lillooet.
OR
— Hwy #99 via Whistler to Pemberton, continuing on the Duffey Lake Road to Lillooet.
Budget 6 hours due to winter driving conditions.

Driving directions from Lillooet:

Drive west towards Gold Bridge for approximately 1¾ hours.
- Turn right, up the hill, after the Chilcotin Holidays sign.
- Continue driving for 4km.
- Turn left at the fork onto Gun Creek Road.
- Continue driving for approximately 4km.
The ranch is situated on the right hand side.
If you reach Gold Bridge — you’ve gone too far.
- Turn around (heading back towards Lillooet).
- Follow Carpenter Lake Road for approximately 15 minutes.
- Look for the Chilcotin Holidays sign.
- Turn left up the hill.
- Continue driving for 4km.
- Turn left at the fork onto Gun Creek Road.
- Continue driving for approximately 4km.
