We offer workshops on interest-based staff management, covering key principles on out-of-the-box staff management so you can better identify the interests, goals, and purpose of your staff and learn how to incorporate our skills in your workplace.
What makes our program successful is that we combine real-life situations through wilderness activities. We facilitate this through a three-stage process for staff growth, evolution, and moving on. We’ll explain how you can take each of your employees out of their comfort zone, provide them with a sense of accomplishment, and show you how to turn this accomplishment into commitment — in your workplace.
In our workshops, we’ll teach managers how to:
It’s through years of experience that we've developed a staff management program to facilitate the growth of every employee who has walked through our ranch doors. With our theories tested and perfected, Chilcotin Holidays is now offering insight into its tried-and-true methods of staff management and the best ways you can get the most out of your staff.
Through workshops and experiential practice, our retreat program offers corporate managers an opportunity to learn important skills for developing the best workforce and how to internalize the lessons learned. The key is placing participants out of their comfort zone and facilitating their individual growth and evolution. We’ll show you how to implement our program in your business setting.
Retreat Only: (4 & 7 days)
The Retreat Only Program is designed for groups wanting to strictly focus on the material content, with all related activities conducted off the ranch and in the surrounding area. This option includes all the experiential workshops as described above, with no horseback riding. This program is suited for participants with no horse experience or with no interest in horseback riding. It does, however, provide a unique opportunity to get participants out of their comfort zone so they can grow and evolve while in a ranch setting. Truly inspirational!
Ranch Stays: (4 & 7 days)The Ranch Stays Program Retreat combines all the workshops listed above with a series of half-day and full-day hikes/rides to various breathtaking locations, tailored to the season. All our hikes/rides begin and end back at the main ranch providing a change of scenery to keep participants involved in the material. These journeys are a welcome break from the traditional classroom-only style of corporate seminars. A refreshing change!
Pack Trip: (4 & 7 days)
Pack Trip Program Retreats cover all the workshop material as well as the ultimate experience of relocation to alpine camps.
The change of scenery, and exposure to a wilderness environment, provides participants with the perfect opportunity to practice all of the skills they are learning through the course material.
The more each lesson is internalized by the participants, the easier it will be for them to adapt the material to their specific workplace.
There’s no better venue to drive lessons home and emphasize experiential learning!
For more information on different wilderness trips (i.e. horse pack, hiking, fishing, and more) that we can incorporate into a corporate retreat program, please refer to Trip Types on our website.
