Chilcotin Holidays is proud to be a member of the following associations:
The Wilderness Tourism Association exists to ensure the ongoing viability of our industry by protecting the wilderness tourism land base. They are an organization of adventure tourism operators working to enhance the wilderness experience through advocacy and education and through involvement with government and public and private enterprise.
The British Columbia Fishing Resorts and Outfitters Association represents the Fresh Water Tourist Fishing Industry.
It works with others in the public and private sector to protect those areas currently in use and to preserve the wilderness experience in British Columbia for the enjoyment of future generations.
It is an industry lobby group whose members are dedicated to providing a quality outdoor experience for their clients and to fostering an appreciation of the richness and sensitivity of the natural environment among all users.
It is the mandate of the BC Guest Ranchers Association to:
Being a member of the British Columbia Guest Ranchers’ Association means connecting with an elite group of tourism operators who operate with a high level of professionalism and adhere to strict standards as set out in the requirements of membership.
The BC Career Colleges Association was set up in 1977 to promote and support those involved in private post-secondary education. Our aim is to ensure that the private training industry is recognized for the high level training and student satisfaction it delivers. With a shortage of skilled workers in B.C. and inadequate seats in the public post-secondary system, private institutions are a vital part of the education picture in this province.
